Chart notes
SILVER REDESDALE stumbled slightly leaving the gate then raced off the pace from three wide around the first turn, moved up to take command past the half mile marker and drew off while keeping to task. AFTER THE GAME stalked the pace from two wide down the backstretch then made a rail bid on the final turn to be clearly second best. CHIEF KIMOSABI was allowed to settle to the first turn then steadily advanced from three wide to be up for the show. HARD KINGS saved ground to the first turn then raced in the middle of the pack from two wide down the backstretch, made a mild rail bid in upper stretch to improve position. PURE MALICE raced at or near the back and passed tiring rivals. DROBNY went to the front to set the pace for a half and retreated. LAST SECOND LOUIE pressed the pace for a half before slowly fading.
