Chart notes
INFINITUM broke a step slowe, climbed briefly and pulled behind OMNIFICENT up the backstretch, chased along the rail then two wide at the five-sixteenths pole, bid inside OTTO'S MAGIC, got floated in and bumped by that rival late and dug in to get up nearing the wire. OTTO'S MAGIC dueled from outside, cleared with three furlongs remaining, came out a bit at the top of the lane, met the challenge from INFINITUM in upper stretch, drifted in and brushed that rival while battling head to head and yielded grudgingly in the end. MAURY WILLS hopped at the start to lose a couple lengths, moved to a forward position three deep, chased determinedly down the lane but lacked the needed late kick. HIGH KING stalked outside a runner then between foes, chased three deep at the five-sixteenths pole and weakened. OMNIFICENT dueled from inside, could not keep up with the leader at the three-eighths pole, chased next to the fence to the stretch and weakened.
