Chart notes
ELECTION NIGHT settled back along the inside to the middle of the pack, advanced three wide through the turn to contest the lead in the upper stretch, kicked clear in the final furlong. PROPS trailed in the early stages, steadily gained position in the turn, angled five wide in the stretch for a mild rally earning second place. ZIP TO ZAP settled off the pace, trailed momentarily in the turn, rallied along the far outside to be up for the show award. KEY MAN took command shortly after the start, gave way in the upper stretch, weakened. STANDARD DEDUCTION raced off the pace, never threatened. FEDERAL AGENT tracked the early pace, retreated at the quarter. CAMPANARIO broke sharply, opted to track the pace from the inside, began a slow retreat in the turn.
