Chart notes
HEAD LAD took control of the pace into the club house turn, leader down the backside, headed by outside rival nearing the eighth pole, regained momentum fought back hit the wire first under strong handling. CENTAVO found a clean pocket off the pace along the rail into the final turn, clean inside trip through the final furlong rallied late for the place award. SPURS UP stalked the pace around the club house turn, under a heavy hand inched clear nearing the furlong marker, running on the wrong lead lost ground through the final stages, held clear for the show. RHUMJAR tracked the early pace, pressed four wide approaching the three eighths marker, bid flattened out through the final sixteenth. ASCENDANCE raced off the pace and off the rail throughout, had no late punch. LINE ASTRAY saved ground off the pace, weakened through the lane. GRAN ANDREWS raced well off the pace five and six wide, never factored late. LAST ROMANCE raced off the pace three and four wide, under pressure from the quarter pole, never threatened.
