PUT A ROCK ON IT broke slowly, was snugly in hand in traffic entering the first turn, eased out and circled four deep, advanced in the three path leaving the backstretch, gained the lead in upper stretch, was under brisk urging and drew away. PAINTBRUSH , shuffled back soon after the start, raced in the three path between horses on the first turn, chased the pace from the two path, remained on her left lead in the stretch and rallied mildly to get up at the wire to dead heat for the place. SAN MATEO KAT sped to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail, set the pace to upper stretch and gave way grudgingly. CASHMERE DANCER stayed near the inner rail, eased out leaving the far turn and weakened. GIRLS GOT GAME stayed inside horses throughout and failed to rally. CHATON ROUGE stayed inside horses to the stretch, swung out and failed to rally. JANES GIRLS lacked speed, raced in the two path the far turn and failed to rally.
