Chart notes
PARADISE set the pace along the rail, kicked clear in upper stretch and widened under a drive. BETTY'S PEARL raced off the early pace, was in traffic down the backstretch, bid three wide around the turn, was repelled by the winner nearing the quarter pole and kept on for the place. SISTER SLEW raced in range four wide and rallied mildly for the show. MISS COMPLICATED tracked the pace two wide, bid between foes nearing the quarter pole and came up empty in the lane. SONG OF SARAH veered in at the start, rushed up inside down the chute, chased inside down the backstretch and retreated around the turn. AFFIRMING chased the pace while racing greenly down the backstretch and was through after a half. MAX was fractious in the gate, had her head turned at the start, raced off the pace outside, pulled up near the five-sixteenths marker and walked off.
