Chart notes
SHUDDER , forwardly placed five wide and outside a hotly contested pace, moved up under rating and bid four deep mid turn, secured command into the lane, responed to firm asking and pulled away readily in the final seventy yards. GOOD FOCUS drafted back early, knifed his way between rivals with a move mid turn, angled five wide into the lane, ranged up outside rivals past mid stretch, flattened out late and held the place. THE SCENT eased back from between runners early, saved ground past the five sixteenths, worked outward then between runners past mid stretch and continued on with good effort. DOMINATE , hard sent from the gate, disputed the pace two wide between runners into the turn, dropped back leaving the three eighths, angled out in the drive and came back on a bit through the final furlong. DORIS AVENUE sped to a slim early advantage, was hounded by a host of outer foes, ceded the lead into the stretch then gave way grudgingly in the final sixteenth. DADDY'S QUEST showed speed four deep early on, battled three wide between runners from the far turn to about the quarter pole, failed to find more past the furlong grounds and faded. HONEYMOON SUITE vied three wide between horses into the turn, tapered in a path sparring between runners around the turn, lacked a punch past mid stretch and weakened. SUIT ME UP CHARLIE was rated back a bit early, lost ground five wide outside foes around the turn and came up empty. STORMCATSONG broke slowly, was hustled up and saved ground pursuing the three way pace battle, stayed in touch to mid stretch then faded.
