Chart notes
HITE chased the pace, stayed in the three path down the backstretch and around the turn, gained the lead near the eighth pole, remained on his left lead and drew clear. MATTHEW'S PATRIOT stalked outside horses down the backstretch, circled the turn five deep and rallied on his left lead. SWEET LEMON DROP , close up leaving the backstretch, raced in the four path around the turn and passed tired foes. HARTSTEIN remained along the rail, disputed the pace and weakened. STONE COLD CAT , outrun, drifted to the seven path in upper stretch. OVERLOAD , inside horses to the stretch, swung out for the drive and failed to rally. POWERFUL PHIL dueled outside HARTSTEIN and tired.
