Chart notes
PARTY POOPER bumped with GAPPER leaving the starting gate, chased from the three path around the turn, gained the lead in mid stretch and drove clear. GAPPER , in tight quarters after bumping with the winner at the start, worked between horses on the turn, swung to the seven path in upper stretch and rallied. GOLDSTRIKER trailed to the stretch, swung to the eight path in upper stretch and closed outside rivals. GENERAL WINSTON , four deep on the turn, lacked the needed rally in an even effort. EL MARRO dueled outside HOTROD BOBBY and weakened the final furlong. WILDCAT BILL stayed along the inner rail chasing the pace around the turn and weakened. PRIVATE DRIVE , wide on the turn, failed to rally. HOTROD BOBBY hugged the inner rail, dueled to mid stretch then gave way. SPIN DOCTOR , no factor, raced along the inner rail on the turn.
