Chart notes
GROUND CONTROL prompted the pace down the backstretch then moved to engage the leader near the quarter pole and took command at the three sixteenths pole, drew clear to prove best. R T'S GEM stalked the pace down the backstretch from the inside then tipped out to three wide around the final turn but was no match for the winner and fended off closing rival. MAGNOLIA AVENUE raced in the middle of the pack around the final turn then made a late three wide rally to be up for show. UNO PEA saved ground to top of the stretch then made a late rail bid to improve her position. RUSTY'S SUNRISE trailed the field to the final turn then made a four wide bid to pass tiring rivals. NEW DESTINY was forwardly placed for a half then dropped back. CRAWFISH BURL went to the front to set the early pace, headed at the quarter pole, weakened around the turn and gave way in the stretch.
