Chart notes
STANDARD PRESSURE was sent for the early lead, assumed command along the backstretch run and showed the way into the turn, dictated terms to the quarter marker, kicked clear to upper stretch, drew off through the lane and was ridden out as much the best. EVANS VALLEY GIRL hustled away from the start, chased the early pace from the inside, saved ground into the turn and ran in pursuit of STANDARD PRESSURE nearing the quarter marker, maintained an inside path to the stretch, was no match for the winner into the late stages but stayed on well in deep stretch to be second best. WINENDINEHER raced close up to the early pace, chased outside of rivals along the backstretch run, ran in pursuit three wide to the quarter marker and ran on into the stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the final sixteenth but stayed on to be a clear third. BY THE LAW broke a step slowly and was allowed to settle early on, saved ground into the turn, maintained a rail path to upper stretch, improved position in the final sixteenth but could not impact the leaders in deep stretch. MAJESTIC LACE was hard to load prior to the start, broke alertly, vied for the early lead then stalked STANDARD PRESSURE along the backstretch run, ran in pursuit of that rival into the turn, was outkicked to upper stretch then weakened in the final furlong. MARGOT'S EFFORT hesitated at the start and was off slowly, settled off of the early pace, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages.
