Chart notes
MCLAREN VALE tracked the leaders from the inside to the top then angled out to four wide in upper stretch to run down the leader and was just up. ROCKETEIGHTYEIGHT stalked the pace from three wide then moved to engage the leaders near the quarter pole and battled around the turn, took the lead entering the stretch, edged away but was denied. CHIEF BRADY raced off the pace from two wide around the turn then tipped out to five wide in upper stretch and gave a late kick to be up for the show. STRAIGHT LUCK shared the command from the inside to the quarter pole then vied for the lead around the turn but was outfinished late. CLASSIC RICK trailed the field to the top of the stretch and passed tiring rival. COPTER shared the command from two wide to the eighth pole and tired.
