Chart notes
RAY'S BLUE WAGON stalked the duel around the first turn, swept past the weary leaders three deep leaving the three eighths marker, hooked by outside rival turning into the lane, battled on while never switching leads, all out drive persevered a hard-fought victory. MASTERWORK broke very slow, raced well off the duel down the backside, circled the field four wide from the quarter pole, loomed a threat nearing the furlong marker, wandered about in upper stretch while unable to swap leads, final switched late, finished gamely could not seal the deal. WELL SPOTTED raced off the duel inside, tipped out four wide for the stretch run, worked hard through the final sixteenth, won the fight for the minor placing. QUEBECK (ARG) raced off the duel four wide, bid three wide into the lane, bid flattened out through the wire. ABUELO PAPS raced off the pace two wide, under pressure from the quarter pole, weakened through the lane. PLATINUM GHOST broke alertly, dueled two wide into the far turn, retreated through the lane. STRASSE broke sharp, dueled inside down the back stretch, faltered through the lane.
