MARINA'S GOLD went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, was collared by MILA'S KAT at the 1/2 mile pole, pulled away down the home stretch and proved the best. HARD SPIRITS pressed the pace, came around the second turn on the outside, made a late bid, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. MIZ JAMESON lacked early speed, saved ground around the second turn, made a bid, finished evenly and proved no match for the top two. ANN'S STORM lacked early speed, saved ground around the final turn, moved up, but was no factor. ROCK STAR DOCTOR void of early speed and passed tired ones. CRYSTAL D'ORO broke out, raced within striking distance, came around the first turn five wide, faded and was no threat late. HARDLY MISCHIEVOUS raced near the middle of the field, came around the first turn six wide, faded and was never a threat. MILA'S KAT showed early speed, dropped back and was outrun.
