FUNNY UNCLE saved ground at the tail of the field, came under encouragement near the five-sixteenths and began to angle out culminating in swinging seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a good finish to close stoutly on the outside seizing command seventy yards from the finish, then prevailed edging clear at the end. BURNINHUNKOFLOVE coaxed from the gate, vied four to five paths off the rail loosely between foes down the backstretch, tucked to the two path and dueled through the turn with LOOMS BOLDLY to his outside, got set down spinning three wide into upper stretch, inched away to the eighth pole, then got displaced from command with seventy yards to go and ran on safe for the place honors. GATSBY hustled from the start, vied with a pair of foes down the backstretch from the three path, tucked inside briefly at the half mile pole before tipping out to be four paths off the rail seven-sixteenths from home, came under coaxing midway on the turn, tipped five wide into upper stretch, got carried out two paths inside the three-sixteenths by LOOMS BOLDLY coming out under a left handed crop and kept on to garner the show honors. PLAY broke inwards brushing the near side stall and then SCARAMANGA at the start, chased six then five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide into the turn, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then flattened out in the late stages. LOOMS BOLDLY coaxed from the gate, vied five to six paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking three wide and dueling with BURNINHUNKOFLOVE through the turn, got let out near the quarter pole and went four wide into upper stretch, came out under a left handed crop two paths at the three-sixteenths herding out GATSBY, then weakened in the late going. SCARAMANGA got brushed at the start by PLAY, chased four paths off the inside briefly before tucking to the inside five furlongs out, came under coaxing along the rail three furlongs from home, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
