Chart notes
SCORPION SHOT raced in the three path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far turn and kicked clear in the stretch. FAST SERVICE raced in the three path around the first turn, dueled on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the second bend and chased on to the wire. SPEND AGAIN saved ground early, came up the backstretch off the pace, continued to save ground around the far turn, began a bid entering the stretch and improved position in the lane. DIABLO ROSSO raced in the four path around the first turn, dueled on the outside up the backstretch, angled in to save ground around the far turn and weakened in the stretch. BILL raced in the two path around the first bend, chased the leader up the backstretch, navigated the far turn still in the two path and faded in the lane. MARK ME IN hit the gate leaving it and was away slowly, saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and made no bid. HANK HILL raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the far turn and tired in the stretch. AN INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE START. UPON REVIEW, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HORSE SIX, MARK ME IN, HAD AN EQUAL AND FAIR BEGINNING AND NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
