GAMETIME GLADIATOR set the pace on the inside, opened up a comfortable lead, responded when roused turning for home, pulled away and was kept to the task. HEAT ALERT tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and was clearly second best. EARL OF DASSEL stalked two wide, chased on the far turn, closed mildly inside and got third. RAINY SKIES raced two wide off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and weakened. GET LIKE MIKE raced three wide early, stalked three wide, chased on the far turn and tired. REAL CONVICTION raced four wide early, then off the rail, off the pace and was outrun.
