Chart notes
WAYLON'S GUITAR vied for the lead in the two path, was roused from the three path passing the quarter, held a small advantage entering the lane, and kicked on into the final furlong to draw clear. WASHITA VALLEY tracked between foes in the two path, came under a ride in the three path passing the three-eighths pole, took aim while angling out to the five path at the top of the stretch, and ran on to be second best. MR OKLAHOMA chased outside of rivals, was coaxed along in the five path around the turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and kept on to edge past an inner pair for show in the final strides. HOWBOUTCHA dueled for the lead against the outer eventual winner along the rail, was cued in the two path passing the quarter, fought on in upper stretch, but yielded around the sixteenth. CAYMEN'S SOLDIER raced up close along the rail, angled out under a drive passing the quarter, swung from the four path into the lane, but faded in the final furlong. CODE MANDALORE rated along the rail, steadied passing the three-eighths pole, and made no closing bid. BUCK PIE stalked an inner trio from the three path, was ridden into the turn, but weakened. KING OF SAMURAI raced off the pace between foes in the three path but lost ground while under a drive around the turn, and did not threaten. BRODY'S CHROME trailed outside, rounded the turn under urging from the five path, but never menaced. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
