BATTLE CRUISER broke out and brushed at the start, was unhurried early, shifted out on the turn, bid four wide entering the stretch, closed steadily and wore down RIDING BY to get up at the wire. RIDING BY was unhurried early, saved ground, got through along the rail on the turn, assumed command, drew off for a clear lead and was caught at the wire. NAISMITH veered out at the start, went five wide on the first turn, stalked the pace, challenged three wide on the turn, dropped back and leveled off. DEEP CREEK STORM was void of early speed, put in a steady effort and improved position. RED MEMORYS set a pressured pace to the second turn, tired and gave way. DINERO DE LA CASA was off a step slowly, moved up on the backstretch to vie two across to the turn, dropped back and gave way. MENDELSSOHNS MUSIC brushed at the start, was never far back, went five wide entering the stretch and had nothing left for the drive.
