Chart notes
MARQUETTE WARRIOR settled back through the early stages, advanced wide through the far turn, came five-wide into the stretch, and finished strongly under steady handling and intermittent urging to get up in time. ENGLISH DANGER settled back well off the pace, advanced closer in the run down the backstretch, then circled the field on the far turn, put a head in front in upper stretch, kicked on well but was outfinished by the winner despite a good effort. VRONSKY FEINT raced close up along the rail just off the pace, was full of run but without a clear path through the far turn, came between horses at the top of the stretch and inside willingly but outkicked in the final furlong. CHARLEY PAINTS stalked the pacesetter, moved up to challenge for the lead at the three-furlong pole, then was beset by a host of challengers to the outside, finished with good courage but could not hold on in the late stages. ROLLIN BLACKOUT gave an even effort, was mildly gaining late. IN OPEN COURT tracked three-wide mid-pack, maintained position to the far turn, then ran on some late, but was outfinished. IF YOU WANT IT was held up at the back through the early stages, moved up three-wide through the far turn, and about seven-wide into the stretch and improved. C HER BEAUTY raced close up three-wide then was outkicked in the stretch. ALICESHOUSEOFHEART lacked any early speed and was near the rear of the field early, was blocked through the far turn but unable to rally when clear in the stretch.
