Chart notes
ZAPPING STRIKE hustled up through the chute, set the pace along the rail around the turn, kicked clear through the final sixteenth. BALTIC broke sharp, pressed the leader two wide around the turn, no match through the lane, chased on well to secure the place. MANSEEYASWAY chased four wide around the turn, finished willingly for the show. DIO DOUBLE GEE pressed between runners into the turn, bid just off the rail through the lane, flattened out to the wire. FOX CREEK bumped back at the start, bid off the pace four deep into the lane, had no late punch. GOT THAT DRIP bumped, lost path into the chute, roused off the pace three and four wide, came up empty late. GALLANT CREEK broke a step slow, chased inside around the turn, under pressure from the furlong marker, weakened through the stretch. BAYTOWN ADMIRAL lacked speed out of the chute, never threatened.
