Chart notes
COUNTRYCLUB COUPLE bumped with LUNA LLENA at the start, then pressed the pace just behind the leading pair without path, was still blocked through the turn, then split horses in upper stretch and finished well under strong handling and urging to get the lead past the furlong pole, and went clear in the final yards. HERE KITTY KITTY raced far back in the early stages, then rallied wide through the turn and sustained the run through the stretch to gain the place. SICILIAN STYLE TWO was coaxed along after the start to get into the early pace mix, was not fast enough, and raced inside chasing the main pack through the turn, slipped through an opening along the rail into the stretch, and finished up well but was not quite good enough. DAME MAUDE CHARDIN got off to an awkward start, then moved up to press the pace four-wide down the backstretch, continued to advance through the turn to bid three-wide for the lead at the top of the stretch, weakened a bit late, and was outfinished for a minor award. GEEGEE'S STORY was up on the pace initially, then dropped back to atracking position, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, encountered some traffic in upper stretch, but lacked a winning kick and finished evenly. LUNA LLENA bumped with COUNTRYCLUB COUPLE at the start, hustled up after the start, dueled inside of GREY MARKET to the stretch, then tired. GREY MARKET broke on top, dueld with LUNA LLENA to the stretch, then stopped. RED WREN was outrun from the start and always behind.
