MACLEAN'S ROOK pulled to the lead leaving the backstretch, set the pace near the two path around the turn, was engaged in upper stretch and held gamely. BOLD DIVERSION hugged the inner rail around the turn, swung to the five path in mid stretch and failed to menace. ROLL ON JESSE , outrun, raced near the inner rail through the stretch.
