Chart notes
C V DYNAMIC lacked speed, swung to outside down the backstretch, circled the far turn four to five wide, lugged in when taking the lead near the eighth pole then drew clear. CLEVELAND POWER chased the pace down the backstretch, gained a two wide lead leaving the far turn and was out finished. INDIAN FEVER , between horses down the backstretch, advanced three deep on the far turn to reach a striking position then weakened in upper stretch. MATTHEW'S PATRIOT , three wide the first turn, rated outside horses on the backstretch and failed to rally. LINO'S KID set the pace near the inner rail and weakened. OVERLOAD remained near the inner rail, failed to be a factor and dropped back. SWEET EMPIRE stumbled leaving the starting gate, raced along the inner rail most of the trip and was outrun.
