Chart notes
PAPIRINGA raced within striking distance down the backstretch then moved up to engage the leader near the quarter pole and took the lead midway through the final turn and drew off. SLIM CAUSEWAY was allowed to settle while saving ground down the backstretch then made a strong rail bid on the final turn to be second best. MISS EMILY raced near the back around the first turn then steadily advanced through the final turn and flattened out. TAKE HER AWAY was forwardly placed around the final turn then moved up into the final turn and tipped out to wide in upper stretch but failed to sustain the bid. LOVE IN THE DARK went to the front to set the pace to the quarter pole where she was headed and weakened. SPECIAL FEATURE trailed the field around the first turn then advanced from three wide in the stretch but was not a threat. DOUBLE CUTE tracked the leaders from two wide for a half and gave way. ACADIANA raced off the pace from between horses around the first turn then dropped back and was never a factor.
