Chart notes
CHARGE THE DEAL sped away to a clear lead to set an unchallenged pace to prove best. SHOULDABEENACOWBOY raced within striking distance from the inside through the turn then tipped out to two wide in upper stretch but couldn't catch the leader but fended off the closing rival to hold the place. AYDEN SUNSHINE bumped with rival at the start and trailed the field to the turn then moved up from two wide on the turn, tipped out to three wide in upper stretch and closed willingly to miss the place. SHAKE OF THE REINS veered in early and bumped with rival near the half mile marker, chased the leader through the turn and tired. SHINING AWAY was shuffled back near the half mile pole then raced near the back down the backstretch, made a mild rail bid on the turn, tipped out to two or three wide but ran into traffic near the sixteenth pole and had to steady slightly and finished evenly. WHEN I SAW YOU bumped with rival and the start then again near the half mile marker, stalked the pace from three wide to the turn before weakening. E K G'S UNION raced off the pace from four wide for a furlong then dropped back and was outrun. JOCKEY OF SHINING AWAY CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST SHAKE OF THE REINS FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE NEAR THE HALF MILE MARKER, AFTER A STEWARDS REVIEW THE CLAIM OF FOUL WAS DISALLOWED AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
