Chart notes
JUDGE RULES hustled to the front and established a narrow advantage over FRAME UP coming out of the first turn, settled in a good rhythm with a clear lead to the stretch, then responded when set down in upper stretch and drew clear. FRAME UP hustled to get forward position, then settled in behind JUDGE RULES through the early stages, chased that foe to the stretch, then was unable to kick on and threaten while finishing well clear of the next horse. KLIMTSTER lacked any early foot, settled near the back of the pack, and lacked a rally. SLIGOTIME settled back early, then started to run on a bit on the far turn, but could not sustain the bid into the stretch and tired. CHARLIESLITLDEVIL was off a step slow then went four-wide into the first turn, moved up closer to the leaders late on that turn, took up a position on the middle of the pack and bided time still racing wide down the backstretch, lost some ground heading into the far turn, then was unable to generate much of anything in the late stages.
