Chart notes
REASONS WE DRINK sprinted clear with the rider attempting to temper the pace, shrugged off a mild challenge near the quarter pole, drew off in the stretch, and geared down near the finish line. MIDNIGHT GODDESS was off a beat slow, the coaxed along to keep pace down the backstretch, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, finished willingly to gain second, but was never a threat to the winner. COMPUTE THIS chased the winner in vain from the outset, then was outfinished for second but well clear of the next horse. LESOTHO tracked four-wide near the back, advanced through the turn, still wide, then was unable to sustain and flattened out in the stretch. PERFECT DATE raced in mid-pack early, then lacked a rally. LADY LOVES MONEY raced close up on the inside to the middle of the turn, then weakened and was not a factor in the late stages. PRIDE AND ATTITUDE chased from the back, saved ground, but could not keep up.
