SONG OF SONGS , bumped soon after the break, was forced in toward the gap a few strides later, regrouped and rated off the pace, angled out leaving the far turn, circled four wide into the stretch, leveled off under right handed asking past mid stretch, sustained a steady run outside rivals and forged ahead in the final yards. TOPIC THUNDER settled off the early pace while saving groud, rushed up to the inside of rivals to take over near the far turn, kept pursuers at bay while under coaxing into the stretch, spurted away under a drive in mid stretch, ducked in towards the gap late and gave way grudgingly. PLAYFUL rated early, angled out near the five eighths, edged up three then four wide into the far turn, had dead aim chasing the leader into the stretch, flattened out very late but still managed to nab the show. SKYEXPRESS led early then rated back off of an inside rival, stalked then edged up between runners past the half, dropped inside with pursuit around the final turn, came out late and finished with effort. SMART ALTERNATIVE , bumped soon after the start, regrouped and pulled her way forward to take over towards the inside, set the pace two wide, wandered a bit nearing the far turn and faltered. FOURLYNNES lost her rider when drifting in soon after the break and bumping a rival. There was a stewards' inquiry into the start. No action was taken. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
