Chart notes
APPEAL broke sharply to take the lead and set all the pace, drew clear and proved best. SPUN SILK pressed the pace around the first turn then settled off the pace down the backstretch before making a rail bid on the final turn and was a clear second. WARRIOR'S LAW was unhurried around the first turn then made a middle move up the rail on the backstretch but was no match for the top two but was clearly best of the rest. GREAT FORTUNE raced near the back to the final turn then made a four wide bid and faltered. WICKEY BIBBY raced four wide into the first turn, raced wide throughout and was not a threat. WHAT A HANGOVER was rank and off a step slow, shifted out to race five wide into the first turn, rushed up to vie for the lead from three wide going into the backstretch, chased leader for a furlong and tired.
