Chart notes
DOOLGAROUX was bumped between foes at the start, trailed through the first turn, steadily advanced through traffic up the backstretch, split foes three wide in the far turn to challenge the pace in the upper stretch, drew clear in the final furlong. VEGA STAR chased the early pace, moved up to take charge at the half, came under pressure at the top of the stretch, yielded to the winner in the final furlong. CESIUM broke a beat slow, raced off the pace three wide, began making progress along the outside after half, entered the stretch five wide to pick off a couple more rivals to earn the show award. CASH HOLIDAY settled off the pace on the inside, trailed at the five eighths, passed retreating foe in the far turn before reclaiming the inside to finish well down the stretch. I BET YOU WONT tracked the pace three wide, moved up to shadow the pace through the far turn, bumped out a path at the top of the stretch by PATEK, unable to rally. PATEK showed good early speed, conceded the lead at the half, continued to stalk the pace from the inside, looked to make a four wide bid at the top of the stretch but bumped into I BET YOU WONT, weakened then on. SEEKING A SOLDIER found position around the middle of the pack, began retreating in the far turn to trail by the quarter, eased across.
