Chart notes
SKIPPYLONGSTOCKING bumped with BANISHING nearing the first turn, saved ground well off the pace, advanced two wide around the far turn, swung four wide near the quarter pole, kicked in under right-handed urging, seized command near the sixteenth pole and powered clear. WHITE ABARRIO settled off the pace four wide, made good progress outside down the backstretch, bid four deep rounding the far turn, kicked clear in upper stretch, led to the sixteenth pole, could not resist his stablemate from there but kept on to hold well clear of the rest. FULL SERRANO (ARG) pressed the pace two wide, bid between foes near the quarter pole, could not keep pace with WHITE ABARRIO in upper stretch but kept on through the lane to hold the show. CAPTAIN COOK stalked the pace three wide around both turns and weakened in the lane. BRITISH ISLES saved ground in range, swung four wide turning home and bumped MIKA, straightened out soon after and lacked the needed rally. BANISHING bumped with the winner not long after the start, checked nearing the first turn, swung out early on that bend, raced four to five wide thereafter and made little impact. LIGHTNING TONES bumped with BROTHA KENY at the start, raced far back three wide and never threatened. DISCO TIME set the pace along the rail, was collared near the quarter pole and retreated inside. MIKA raced four wide in range around both turns, was bumped in upper stretch and had no further bids. POSTER hit the starting gate, raced three wide and played no factor. BROTHA KENY bumped at the start, raced two wide and was never involved. TAPPAN STREET was outrun while racing two and three wide. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
