Chart notes
KNIGHTSBRIDGE dueled for the lead to the outside of LIFE AND TIMES, shook clear nearing the quarter pole, came three wide off the turn and was put to mild crop urging to draw off and then was geared down late to prove much the best, sharp. BACK EM UP chased the early pace and was three to four wide on the turn and was ridden along to keep up, came five wide into the lane and ran on willingly to be second best. LIFE AND TIMES hit the gate at the start, then rushed up the inside to duel with the winner to nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the drive while staying on for the show award. RACING DRIVER was bumped at the start, settled back early and was two to three wide on the turn and had a belated rally. TOUR PLAYER was settled early and came under a ride two to three wide on the turn and was in range by the quarter pole but tired in the drive. STEAL SUNSHINE was bumped at the break and outrun in the early going and lacked a rally. CATALYTIC was settled early and then put to a drive leaving the half mile marker and tired on the turn. NELSON AVENUE was away alertly and rated three wide early, angled in nearing the turn and saved ground on the turn but had no response and retreated.
