Chart notes
CLAM BEACH was sent up to the inside of rivals to take command into the first turn, cleared soon after and set the pace towards the inside, was coaxed along into the far turn, spurted away a bit while driven two wide in upper stretch, kept on under solid handling past the furlong grounds then held firm while being shown the crop through the final yards. SCARLETT LETTER dropped in early and rated inside a trio of foes, took closer order near the five sixteenths, was guided out for a clear run near the three sixteenths and gave willing pursuit to the wire. CHICA TIGRE , off slowly when breaking outward, corrected and moved up four wide into the first turn, stalked four deep heading to the half, was under pressure chasing three deep nearing the lane but failed to seriously kick on through the final furlong. MISS MADAME stalked the winner off the inside, was pushed along two wide between rivals from the half to the head of the lane, lacked a punch soon after and faded while on the left lead. BOSS GIRL tracked off the rail, raced three wide between horses leaving the five eighths, failed to kick on leaving the far turn and retreated.
