Chart notes
CELTIC PRIDE showed good speed away from the gate to take a clear lead but was tiring late and lasted. OUR FAVORITE SON raced in the middle of the pack to the turn then moved up from three wide and was gaining late but was not enough. CHIEF BRADY trailed the field to the turn then moved up from three wide, tipped in to two wide in upper stretch to make the late run on the inside and missed the place. TEXAS TOWN rushed up and chased the leader to the top of the stretch and tired. HI YAH raced in the middle of the pack while saving ground to the quarter pole and faded. DADDY'S GIFT raced in the middle of the pack from two wide to the three furlong marker then fell back on the turn and was outrun.
