Chart notes
FLASH THAT SMILE drew clear with nine sixteenths to go, showed the way in the three path, drew off under mild urging and was much the best. MAMARANDO tracked from the four path then stayed on while hanging on his left lead to prove second best. SWISS DANCER raced off of the pace in the four to five path then ran on to edge show in the final furlong. BELIEVE IN HER pursued from the two path then stayed on mildly between horses. GOLDEN MIDNIGHT brushed with an inner foe at the start, lacked speed in the three path, shifted out in upper stretch and failed to factor. KAYDEE MY LOVE raced forwardly, chased closest to the clear leader from the inside into the turn then tired. LIBERTY CAP brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, lagged behind along the inside and made little impact.
