Chart notes
CHAHTA CITIZEN raced in the middle of the pack while saving ground then made a rail bid on the final turn and slipped through at the top of the stretch, dueled inside of LIKE CLOCKWORK and was bumped slightly with that one while drifting out but held on to win the nod. LIKE CLOCKWORK went to a pressured lead from the inside before inching away near the quarter pole, dueled in the stretch outside of CHAHTA CITIZEN and was bumped slightly near the sixteenth pole but kept on and lost the nod. WHATDIDWEDO raced in the middle of the pack from two wide then fell back slightly going into the final turn, made a rail bid and fought gamely to be up for the show. NOTIME FORMISCHIEF stalked the pace from four wide to the final turn then tipped in to go three wide in upper stretch but lacked a late kick and was outfinished. TAUREAN raced in the middle of the pack from three wide down the backstretch, fell back slightly on the turn then made a mild late bid from five wide to improve his position. STRAIGHT DROPBILLY went to the front to press the pace from three wide to the final turn and weakened. LINCOLN PRODUCTION trailed the field to the top of the stretch before moving between horses near the sixteenth pole but failed to menace. PUCKSTER went to the early lead then vied for the lead from between horses to the final turn and gave way. NO SOY BORRACHO was restless in the gate then hopped leaving the gate to trail the field to the first turn then moved up slightly from three wide down the backstretch but fell back and was not a threat. THE JOCKEY OF LIKE CLOCKWORK CLAIMED INTERFERENCE AGAINST CHAHTA CITIZEN IN THE STRETCH RUN, AFTER A STEWARDS REVIEW THE CLAIM OF INTERFERENCE WAS DISALLOWED AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
