Chart notes
OUR KEEPSAKE stalked the pace from three wide to the three furlong marker then moved up to engage the lead midway through the turn and took the lead going into the stretch and drew clear. FIRST LOVE raced off the pace down the backstretch then made a rail bid to engage the leader but was no match for the winner and proved second best. BEST PERFORMER raced in the middle of the pack down the backstretch then made a rail bid while showing the late effort to be up for the show. MAX'S REDEMPTION raced in the middle of the pack from two wide through the final turn then made a mild late bid to improve her position. LA NINA DORADA shot to the front to set the pace for a half then was eclipsed near the three sixteenths pole and weakened. ISLAND GOLD was unhurried around the first turn then moved up the rail down to the three furlong marker then shifted out to go between horses near the quarter pole, shifted out to four wide in upper stretch but failed to menace. SHOW ME THE CANDY was always back and not a factor. FORGOTTEN FORTUNE was allowed to settle near the back, raced four wide on the final turn and passed tired one. GOTTOTRY MISCHIEF prompted the pace from two wide to the final turn and gave way.
