Chart notes
CHARLIE DONT SURF broke on top, seized the early lead while getting some pressure from CURLY'S ONE THING, responded when set down at the top of the stretch, opened up a clear length and maintained the margin to the finish. CURLY'S ONE THING pressed the pace to the outside of CHARLIE DONT SURF, loomed at the top of the stretch, chased that one determinedly, but had to settle for second. FIFTYSHADESOFNAUTI chased three-wide in the middle of the pack down the backstretch, finished well enough to gain third, while never a threat to the top pair. GO LANG settled in mid-pack inside and gave an even effort. WIN'S IMAGE was fractious before the start, dropped to last from the break, and was never a factor. OTHERBROTHERDARYL chased 3-wide from near the back and lacked a finish. TOMMY KAT broke well, was briefly up with the leaders in the three-path, dropped out heading into the turn, and steadily retreated through the turn.
