Chart notes
FADE TO GOLD was lightly bumped at the break then bothered when bumped twice in the early going taking up slightly and dropping back off the leaders, stalked the early pace along the inside, slowly overtook the leader at the half, pulled away down the stretch to be much the best. NOVA NOVA NOVA was unhurried at the start to be the first to trail the pack, angled out six wide at the top of the stretch, showed a rally to earn the place award but was no match for the winner. CLEARLY MY STAR bumped a rival at the start, pressed the early pace, carried far out in the first turn by MOM'S HANDS, rejoined the the middle of the pack four wide, advanced through the far turn to enter the stretch six wide, angled in to split foes at the eighth, got up for the show award. ALL YOU was bumped at the start, took a slight hold going into the first turn, took the first turn four wide, settled off the pace along the inside after the first turn, slowly advanced along the inside up the backstretch to take the far turn close up, tipped out five wide in the stretch but came up empty. IT'S JUST SIMPLE was bumped and steadied just slightly at the start, found position around the middle of the pack, made no bid, did not threaten. SOUTHERN QUEEN stalked the pace four wide before the first turn, carried far out by MOM'S HANDS in the first turn, continued on off the pace, looked to make improvements along the inside of the stretch but weakened in the final furlong. ALL STAR TOUT claimed a brief lead before the first turn, carried far out by MOM'S HANDS in the first turn, rejoined the pack to stalk the pace three wide, retreated down the stretch. MOM'S HANDS bumped a rival at the start, rushed to the early lead on the inside before the first turn, bumped the outside foe twice heading to that bend, bore out and lost much ground in the first turn and carried out three other foes in the process, settled back in to the two path up the backstretch while still keeping the lead, conceded the lead to inside foe at the half, bore out again on the far turn to enter the stretch trailing eight wide.
