Chart notes
THOUSANDSTICKS bumped with TURF STAR entering the first turn, prompted the pace two wide while under a good hold, inched clear on the turn under mild coaxing and moved out to the four path leaving the turn and had a long drive with REDLAND REBELS and got the best of that rival late to prove best under mild crop urging. REDLAND REBELS advanced on the outside and crossed over entering the first turn to show the way, well handled throughout and moved out three wide leaving the turn and was sent down for the drive, dug in determinedly by the furlong marker but was out-gamed late. ALPYLAND was well rated along the inside to the five sixteenths marker then moved out to be three wide by the quarter pole, moved out to have aim on the leaders and was slowly gaining but needed more. KNOTY KNICKS was three wide into the first turn and settled into stride while being reserved, between rivals by the five sixteenths and then moved to the inside leaving the turn to make a bid but needed more in the final furlong. GLORIOUS BOY was reserved early, three wide on the far turn and swung out five wide and had a mild late kick. TURF STAR was bumped entering the first turn, stalked the pace three wide but weakened by the five sixteenths marker. KHOZALITE was allowed to settle on the inside and dropped back on the far turn and tired.
