STICKER SHOCKED opted to be the early trailer, waited patiently until being cued five wide in the far turn, responded well to the left handed encouragement in the stretch to drive past the field, up in time. YOU'RE IN HEAVEN broke alertly to claim the lead in the two path, continued on in hand until being asked at the quarter with right handed encouragement, switched sticks at the eighth in an attempt to hold off STICKER SHOCKED but grudgingly gave way. BARTENDER tracked the early pace four wide, unable to close in the upper stretch, weakened in the final furlong. CLEARLY AUTHENTIC was in tight quarters right behind the pace along the inside, took slight holds repeatedly in the first half, weakened down the stretch. HURRICANE KATE stalked the early pace between rivals, began backing off in the far turn to trail by the quarter, made no progress in the stretch.
