Chart notes
BIG MUCKITY broke swiftly to claim a ground-saving lead, vied for command with SHADOWLESS at the half, opened up a couple lengths in the turn before being challenged to duel by GO WEST down the stretch, dug in late for the win. GO WEST shadowed the early pace from the inside, launched a three wide bid at the top of the stretch to duel with BIG MUCKITY, led briefly but could not sustain the bid, finished gamely. SHADOWLESS moved up to vie for command with BIG MUCKITY at the half, slowly backed off through the turn, no match for the top two, held for the show award. MANNY'S KAT tracked the pace, angled out four wide in the stretch, unable to rally. BEN DIESEL raced off the pace on the inside, passed tiring foe in the stretch. OUTLIER was bumped between foes at the start, raced off the pace, never threatened. R DOC trailed, pulled up around the five seven sixteenths, escorted off in an equine ambulance. This race was originally hand timed, and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
