Chart notes
HARP'S HOT CORNER showed good early speed to set the pace, dueled on the turn, shook free, responded when roused and drew off under urging. SMOKE WAGON raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn and rallied for second. A VOTRE SANTE chased two wide, chased on the turn, angled out and rallied mildly. SOLO IN PARIS raced off the pace, saved ground on the turn and closed belatedly. MISSION FIRST stalked the winner, bid on the turn, dueled with that rival and weakened. COACH BENNETT was off slowly and steadied, raced off the pace, chased on the turn and failed to threaten. JACKSON ROAD raced two wide off the pace and did not factor. FACE DOWN stumbled and was off slowly, then raced off the pace, chased three wide on the turn and gave way.
