Chart notes
GENERAL JIMBO broke sharply to claim an uncontested lead, led throughout under no pressure from the field, kept to task in the stretch under left handed encouragement to be much the best. MAGICAL MAX settled off the pace five wide, steadily advanced through the turn, picked off a few more rivals in the stretch but was no match for the winner. LEAVENODOUBT tracked the early pace, unable to close in on the leader despite left handed urging in the stretch. PONTOTOC settled off the pace along the inside, tipped out three wide in the stretch to improve. RIDEN THE LEGEND trailed in the early stages, made steady progress through traffic throughout. KALUKI shadowed the early pace on the inside, began retreating at the quarter. EURO K raced four wide around the middle of the pack, dropped back off the pace in the far turn, showed little in the stretch. SMILING TIME settled off the pace between rivals, trailed at the seven sixteenths. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
