Chart notes
HANDSOME HAROLD pressed the pace from the inside to three eighths then settled off the pace to the top of the stretch and made a late rail bid to draw clear. HUEY DUEY vied for the lead from three wide, engaged the leader near the three furlong marker but couldn't catch and was outkicked late but proved second best. TOP OF THE ROCK raced off the pace from four wide and made a late run in the stretch to miss the show. MAXIMUS FREEDOM stumbled slightly at the start then rushed to the lead before being headed near the three furlong marker and fended off that challenge before tiring late. WILLIAM GUSTAVO raced in the middle of the pack and was not a factor. PRINCE JAMES was always back and transported on the equine ambulance. COURTMAN was off slow and trailed throughout.
