Chart notes
HIGHER SENSE showed speed away from the start and assumed early command, dictated terms to the quarter marker, drew off while in hand through the lane and won as much the best. VIRGINIA GENTRY tracked the early pace between foes, chased HIGHER SENSE to the quarter marker, was no match for the winner into the stretch drive but kept on late to be a clear second best. TWIN LAKES was forwardly placed while outside of rivals in the early going, coaxed three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, could not match strides with the top pair into the stretch but ran on in the lane to be a clear third. PAINTMYMASTERPEACE tracked the early pace while widest up the backstretch, went up and stalked the pace into the turn, was turned away into upper stretch and gave way in the drive. GRAND HALL rated off of the moderate early pace, saved ground into the turn then was asked for run three wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response into the stretch and did not threaten late. PLAY IT COOL was squeezed a bit at the start and away a step slowly, rushed up along the inside and tracked the pace to the turn, chased from the inside into upper stretch and tired in the drive. ZENCAT stumbled at the start and was last away from the gate, trailed into the turn, swung widest to upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages.
