Chart notes
SUMMERTIME PEPPERS roused to the front to set the pace with a clear lead and drew off in the stretch. RED IDOL stalked the pace from three wide to the final turn then moved up to engage the leader but couldn't catch and was a clear second. POCKETFUL OF MONEY was unhurried to the first turn then steadily advanced from the inside and was along for the show. SEEHOSS tracked the leaders from the inside while racing evenly and never made a serious bid. YANKEESTROLGY settled in the middle of the pack from off the rail then moved out to four wide at the three furlong marker but flattened out. C F SPUNIE STYLE prompted the pace to the three furlong marker and gave way. CHAD'S FLASH raced close up on the pace around the first turn then dropped back and was not a factor. STRONG PROSPECT trailed the field around the first turn then lost contact on the final turn and was distanced.
