Chart notes
AWESOME MAGIC rushed to a clear lead around the first turn then was pressured near the three furlong marker but kept on to duel down the stretch and won the nod. SPAMALOT raced off the pace around the first turn then moved up to challenge the leader around the final turn, took the lead near the eighth pole, dueled down the stretch but was outnodded. ARMY WILDCATTER stalked the pace from the inside before steading near the three sixteenths pole, made a late rail run and just missed. PURPLE HEART raced near the back around the first turn then advanced from two wide through the final turn, tipped out to four wide and made a late gain on the top two. TOOGOODTOSELL raced wide throughout but made a late stretch run to improve his position. TWO DOLLARS was unhurried down the backstretch then made a mild three wide bid on the final turn but failed to sustain the bid. UNBRIDLED'S HEIR was forwardly place to the top of the stretch and lacked a late response.
