Chart notes
DAGUERRE rated off the pace around the first turn, quickened stride five wide leaving the quarter pole, sustained the rally through the lane, wore inside foe down late, up in time. J. BELKIN tracked the top pair three wide down the backside, inched forward leaving the quarter pole, inside DAGUERRE through the lane, dug in gamely, conceded grudgingly under the wire. HOT WINGS veered out bumped rival at the start, recovered quickly stalked inside down the back stretch, angled out three wide into the lane, no match for the top two, along final sixteenth for the show. TEX broke alertly, pressed the pace three wide into the far turn, under pressure from the furlong marker, flattened out through the stretch. TREE OF DEM saved ground off the pace, rail bid from the quarter pole, had no late impact. ROYCES RIDE broke sharp, set the pace along the rail around the first turn, came under urging nearing the quarter pole, gave way through the lane. TOM'S GOLD bumped at the start, pressed along into the first turn, lacked speed down the backside, weakened through the stretch. APOLAUSTIC bumped at the start, raced off the pace three and four wide, never threatened.
